This is a first shift (day shift) position, Monday thru Friday (with occasional nights/weekends).

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest food safety and quality standards are maintained throughout our manufacturing processes.
This position is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in food safety and quality control to contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
1.
Implement and maintain food safety programs and quality control systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
2.
Conduct regular food safety audits and inspections, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions.
3.
Maintain a thorough understanding of Food Laws and Regulations, and ensure company practices are in compliance.
4.
Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout all stages of the manufacturing process.
5.
Oversee the accuracy of product labeling in accordance with USDA food labeling regulations.
6.
Prepare and present reports on quality control activities to management.
7.
Lead and participate in quality and food safety training sessions for staff members.
8.
Stay updated on emerging food safety trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure our company remains at the forefront of the industry.
Qualifications:
1.
2
years of experience as a Food Safety Quality Technician or similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
2.
Proven experience conducting food safety audits and inspections.
3.
Comprehensive knowledge of Food Laws and Regulations.
4.
Certified in SQF and HAACP.
Additional certifications related to food safety and quality control will be considered an asset.
5.
Proficiency in USDA food labeling regulations.
6.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
7.
Strong problem-solving abilities and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
8.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred.
